ideal proposal, located just a few steps off
the sea, surrounded by a pine-tree forest. The
uniqueness of Simantro Beach Hotel lies in the
similarities of structure and beauty to the remarkable
and timeless monasteries of Mount Athos. Built
in 1992 and extended in 2000, it has numerous
Byzantine elements and fine details in wood and
stone, setting this hotel apart form all others.
Accommodation
Choose from
twin or superior twin rooms with a maximum occupancy
of 4 people. Each room is tastefully furnished
and comfortable and is equipped with a private
bathroom with shower, direct dial telephone,
mini fridge and air conditioing in July & August.
In addition the superior rooms have hair dryers
and satellite TV.
Food & Beverage
Enjoy one
of the most beautiful sunsets of Mount Olympus
by choosing the a la carte taverna. International
and traditional Greek food are served at the
buffet. Vegetarian meals, childrens menus and
special dishes for people who are on a certain
diet, are served every day. Guests can either
order a la carte traditional Greek dishes in
the taverna, or just have a light lunch between
11:00 and 18:00. There are 3 bars in the hotel:-
The Macedonian is the main bar and is open from
18.00-01.00. The pool bar Albatros is open from
10.00-18.00 and the beach bar Maistrali operates
from 10.00-01.00. All the bars serve a variety
of soft drinks, coffees, cocktails and cold sandwiches.
Sports & Leisure
Many sports
facilities are available within the hotel. Volleyball
matches are organised almost everyday, or you
can play tennis or table tennis. For watersports
there is a dive centre, windsurfing, jet skis,
water skiing, ringos or canoes. The long sandy
beach has been awarded the European Blue Flag
for its quality of the water and protection of
the environment and its main asset is the long
stretch of shallow water enabling very safe swimming
for both childrens and adults. If you prefer
there is a large swimming pool with an ajoining
childrens pool surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds
and umbrellas.
Animation
The animation
team is ready for fun every day from 10:00 till
23:00. During the day, guests can take part in
athletic activities. They can also enjoy various
games that are organized. During the evening,
children can show off their dancing skills in
our mini club and the adults can watch the evening
animation program which includes sketches, shows,
competitions and games. During the day, our young
guests can take part in the activity and fun
program that our animators supervise. In addition
to all this, there is a Greek evening once a
week, where folklore dances take place.
All Inclusive Food and
Drinks:
Full board
served in the rich buffet style at the Main Restaurant.
Variety of snacks and sandwiches are available
between 10:30-22:00 at the Snack Bar. Ice Cream
for children is served from 10:30-20:00. Refreshments
after breakfast are available throughout the
day till 24:00. Various AI Drinks are available
for AI guests between 10:30-24:00 (soft drinks,
mineral water, local alcoholic drinks including
local beer and house wine for lunch and dinner).
Afternoon coffee, tea and biscuits are also served
at the hotel.
All Inclusive Sport & Entertainment:
Water sports
(Canoes, Pedalos - half an hour per day); Tennis;
Table tennis; Volleyball. Daytime activities
and evening entertainment is available for hotel
guest throughout the day. Early supper for kids
in the restaurant and kids menu. Sun-beds and
umbrellas at the pool and sun-beds on the beach
are at disposal for AI clients.
