Rethymno
Mare is a 4* hotel and bungalow complex, situated
in Scaleta, 11 km away from Rethymnon and 65
km from Heraklion. Scaleta is a small village
with hotels, restaurants, taverns, bars, discos
and shops. The organized beach with changing
cabins, showers, etc, can be reached through
a tunnel and lift, 100 m. from the hotel. There
is a regular bus service from the hotel to Rethymnon.

Mare consists of 66 standard and 20 superior
rooms in the main building, and 66 bungalows
built in a typical Cretan style. All the rooms
are pleasantly furnished with private bathroom,
toilet, balcony, music, telephone, hair dryer,
sat-TV, safe (charged), air-conditioning, heating,
refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities,
beach/ pool towels (with deposit for all room
types except the superior room), and some of
them are with sea view (on extra charge). In
all superior rooms there are tea and coffee making
facilities, beach/pool towels, bathrobes, slippers
and also a bottle of wine, mineral water, fruit
basket and flowers upon arrival (all free of
charge).
