The hotel
gets its name from the ancient greek word, meaning "An
unbroken view of an entire surrounding area".
The Panorama Hotel boasts magnificent views of
the bay of Chania and the historic islet of Thodorou.
This exclusive and luxurious beach hotel, built
in the early 80s and totally refurbished during
year 2000, is situated 5km from the most picturesque
town of Crete, Chania and about 20km from its
international airport. The famous Samaria Gorge
is only 30km away, while mountains of Crete overlook
the green valleys surrounding the hotel. Cretan
ceramics and beautiful pastel paintings instil
the hotel with a real sense of the enchanting
Greek island's history. The layout consists of
a 3 floor main building with 138 rooms and a
complex of charming superior rooms located in
a prime area within Panoramas landscaped gardens.
Accommodation
Room types
range from standard & beautifully appointed
mountain view rooms to sea view & superior
rooms. There are also the luxuriant suites in
the main building and the garden upgraded rooms,
which constitute the hotel's best accommodation.
Some of these have private swimming pools right
in front of the terrace. All the rooms and the
suites are brand new, with a balcony or terrace,
equipped with a private bathroom - including
a shower - fully air conditioned and centrally
heated, satellite TV, mini -bar, safe box, direct
dial telephone, razor plug and hairdryer. The
decor reflects the simple elegance of the Mediterranean
that rests the eye and pleases the senses. Most
rooms are twin bedded although some have double
beds (on request).

Dining facilities
are excellent. Guests have a choice between the
hotels international restaurant, its Cretan taverna
specialising in local meze dishes, an extremely
popular pool bar, the lobby coffee shop and a
lavish room service menu. Its popular bar offers
the best in atmosphere and drinks, while it serves
as the hotels meeting and reference point.
Sports & Leisure
Located
between the hotels main building and the garden
rooms complex there are two crystal clear swimming
pools, surrounded by by terraces with designer
bamboo furniture and stylish sun-beds and umbrellas.
An additional pool is also available for the
exclusive use of the garden rooms residents.
Leisure facilities include a tennis and basketball
court, gym, sauna, billards, volleyball, massage
and hairdressing. A wide choice of walking paths,
boat trips and excursions to many interesting
sights are readily available. Please be aware
