The Calimera
Ermones Beach Hotel is situated in an extraordinary
beautiful landscape, directly over a ravine with
a heavenly view of the sea, on the sunny West
Coast of the Island of Corfu. The distance to
the next village is 1.5 km and to Corfu town
and the airport 17 km (domestic bus line).
Accommodation
The rooms
and bungalows are very large (42 qm) accommodating
2-4 persons. All rooms are nicely and comfortably
furnished (complete renovation in 1999) with
air-conditioning, bath/ WC, hair dryer, direct
dial phone, refrigerator, radio, Satellite TV,
safe for rent, balcony with direct or side sea
view. Also available are bungalows with bank
beds, ideal for families.
Facilities
In the main
building are the large reception and TV are along
with comfortable sitting places, Internet room
and gift shop. In the same are the restaurant,
the bar with the grand salon and fire place,
as well as the Olympic size swimming pool (chairs
free), the theatre and the pool bar. Across the
main building we have the indoor heated swimming
pool with sauna, jacuzzi, gymnastic room, pool
tables. Two tennis courts, mini soccer, basket
ball, volley (also beach volley) giant chess
and shuffle board.
Bar & Restaurant
The main
restaurant next to the Olympic size swimming
pool offers lavish breakfast, lunch and dinner
buffets (diet buffet and baby corner for warming
up baby food). In between the meals, snacks and
refreshments are available. The main bar is also
next to the pool and the disco area with a great
view over the Ionian Sea. The Beach restaurant
and the bar are directly on the beach next to
the hotel and are offering snacks and refreshments.
Sports & Recreation
One Olympic
size swimming pool (childrens section) and one
inside heated pool, sauna, jacuzzi, fitness centre,
massage, ping-pong. Water sports: diving, sailing,
surfing, scuba diving. Bike rental and mountain
bike tours. Two artificial grass tennis courts
(flood lit, lessons possible), basket ball, mini
soccer, volley, beach volley, badminton, boccia,
darts. For the children the Calimerini Club offers
games, plays and children care. During the day
and evening, entertainment and show programs.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks:
There is
a full board consisting of a buffet Breakfast & Late
Continental Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner served
at the Main Restaurant (baby food available).
Afternoon coffee, tea, cakes and sweets are available
at selected bars. Snacks are available all day
round at the Snack Bar. Midnight Snacks are served
in the buffet style. There are three hotel bars
available for AI guests: Main bar, Pool bar and
Beach bar serving various local alcoholic drinks
(Beer, wine, Ouzo, Brandy), soft drinks and mineral
water from 10:00-24:00 (selected drinks are payable
after 20:00).

hours; floodlit with charge); Aerobic; Step-Aerobic;
